Turn Your Impossible Situation to Possibility

Have you ever set your heart on a mission and you hear someone says to you, 'that is impossible' 'that cannot be done', maybe it is your own heart that is even telling you, 'you cannot do it', 'that is beyond you', 'that is not for you', or you don't have what it takes to get to that level? Have you been looking for a way out of your problem and there is a red plaque before you saying “impossible”? Then I believe this is a message that God will use to transport you from your level of impossibility to possibilities in the name of Jesus Christ.

How many of your goals, how many of your visions, how many of your objectives, or aspirations have been buried only because of that demeaning word “impossibility”?
This word has made the grave yard to be richer than the oil fields or even gold mines, because many great ideas, man visions and goals that would have been actualized died with the man and was buried with the man.

Are you still in the bondage of sin, because someone said to you at a time that it is not possible for you to live a holy life? The bible is very clear about this word “impossibility” and there is a page of the bible that speaks directly about the impossibility of life. What men have told you is impossible God has a word about it and you can find that in (Luke 1:37) “For with God nothing shall be impossible”.

The problem with many of us is that we have confused difficulties with impossibility when we come across a difficult thing; we say it is impossible, whereas nothing is “impossible”. We may only have difficult things in life but we do not have impossible things with God.

The book of Daniel chapter 2 tells us about something that men will consider impossible. King Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had a dream which troubled his heart, when he woke up in the morning he desired to know the interpretation of his dream. He called on his magicians, his sorcerers, and astrologers, to interpret this dream but these professional who were trained in the art of interpreting dreams when they heard they made a statement which is common to the tongue of many today who are suffering under the spirit of impossibility in verse 10 and 11 they said “there is not a man on earth who can tell the king's matter”. Take note of that.

However, they also said this can only be achieved by God. Daniel was not an astrologer, a magician, or a sorcerer, but Daniel was a wise man in the land. Daniel was willing to take a risk. He sought for what others could not attempt and he turned what others called “impossibility” to a possibility. There are about seven things I want to point out to us in this article. I do not know what men had told you that it is impossible, God wants me to tell you that, there is nothing that is “impossible”.

(1) For you to move from the realm of impossibility to possibilities, you must know and believe in God of all possibilities, I don't know which God you believe in but there is a God who specializes in making the so called impossibility to become possible (Matthew chapter 19 verse 26) says with men this might be impossible but with God all things are possible. That is the God I invite you to turn your life to, that is the God I invite you to give your life to, that is the God I ask you to relate with to have relationship with the God who can make all things “possible”.

(2) Set yourself apart for the God of all possibilities Daniel did not only know this God of all possibilities he had set himself apart for Him. From chapter 1 according to verse 8, when Daniel was in the king’s court he said to himself he will not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies because he knew the kind of God that he serves. Daniel separated himself for God of all possibilities. As people who believe in this God our lives must be set apart for him, we must be free from sin and worldliness. (1 John 5:21) the bible says keep yourself from idols, set yourself apart alone for him who can turn impossibility to possibilities.

(3) Be willing to delve into the realm of impossibility. Daniel was not afraid to take a risk he told Arioch give me time tell the king to give me time what others had said impossible I am willing to go into it to see that it can become possible. The fear of failure is the father of failure. To many of us the battle that we really need to conquer is the battle against the fear of failure.

Many of us are not lunching out; we are not taking steps because we are too afraid to fail. The fact that you failed once does not mean you will fail again. And you are not a failure until you stop trying. If you have failed an exam once and you stopped trying that is when you become a failure, even if you have tried it for ten times you are not a 'failure' because there is still room to try. Daniel was willing to take a risk; he was willing to do what others were not willing to do.

(4) Refuse to be overwhelmed by the failure of others. The facts that many people have failed does not mean you too will fail. The fact that the astrologers, the magicians etc could not do it did not stop Daniel from saying I can do it. The fact that those you consider better off than you did not make it, does not imply that you can't make it because you are a unique person, the spirit of God that lives in you is the spirit of “possibilities” He is the God before whom nothing shall be impossible so I challenge you to take chance, take chance and take coverage for you can make it. And may that be your testimony in Jesus name.

(5) Be patient with the God of all possibilities as you lean on him with confidence. Daniel did not only know this God of possibilities, Daniel did not only set himself apart for him, Daniel was patience with God and he leaned on God with confidence. Daniel asked for a time and if you look at verses 16 and 17, he was so sure that God will reveal the secret to him. In Mark 11 verse 23 the Bible says,

“if any of you will speak to this mountain be ye removed and be thee cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass. He shall have what so ever he wants.”

He said do you know that the problem with many of my children is that they fail to speak to the mountain of their lives, they are too afraid to speak to the mountain and I asked why. He said because many of them are afraid saying to themselves that what if they speak to the mountain and it refuses to move, it will be a shame. That is the secret when you speak to that mountain and it has not moved, you speak again, if it still refuses to move, speak again. 

When the Bible says, speak; speak to this mountain the book was not talking about physical mountain but about the spiritual mountain. Your duty is to speak to the mountain it is not your business to know when and how it shall be removed. God may use the government, God may use your friends, God may use your parents, God may even use your enemies but whatever God needs to do, it will do to remove the mountain. It is not your responsibility to look at how it will be removed, yours is to speak to it every mountain of impossibly before us as we speak to them they shall give way in thy name of Jesus Christ.

(6) Be prayerful for your impossibility to turn to possibilities you must be prayerful. The secret of turning impossibility into possibilities is prayer in (verses 17-18) Daniel decided to seek the face of the Lord. And even sought for the prayers of his friends, he said go and pray for me; I also will go before the Lord to seek the face of God about the matter I want to know the secret of the king dream. Talents and skills are not enough or promotion, you need divine intervention your skills may not achieve it, your knowledge may not be able to bring it out but with God on your side you shall be victorious.

Daniel answered and said Blessed be the name of God forever and ever. For wisdom and might are his, and he changes the things and the season he remove kings and raises up kings he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding, he reveals deep and secret things, he knows what is in the darkness and light dwells within.

Those who live in the realm of impossibility they end up perishing. They perish with their thoughts, visions, aspirations, goals and dreams but the man who delves into that realms and believes in God of all possibilities will soar. Henceforth, that will not be your portion. There is nothing God cannot do, the Bible says He brings down kings and he raises another.


Daniel believed in God and God turned the impossibility into possibilities because in every so called “impossibilities, there are possibilities. So when they tell you it is impossible, there are so many possibilities around. The only problem is that we do not look for them, nor search for them or willing to take the step of faith. Daniel knew the dream, he also knew the interpretation, he was exalted and promoted, he was blessed and those around him were equally blessed.

 This day, after reading this, the Lord commands you to move forward as individual or a family, I want you to take this first steps in your journey forward. Plan purposefully, prepare prayerfully, proceed positively and above all pursue your goal persistently. Remember one thing; you cannot be a testifier unless you have passed through a test of life.


Many years ago Bill Gates was asked about Megabytes, he told people that a computer of 8 megabytes is enough for man, but we have moved from Megabytes to Gigabytes and now to terabytes and who knows what comes next, only God knows. 

If one had predicted that a black man will ever rule America it would have been countered but today it is different. Note, Nothing is an impossible thing, we may have difficult situations, that does not mean that it is impossible. All we need to do is to depend on this God that can turn things around.
