How To Operate By Faith

Faith is the subject that we always teach but chiefly we barely understand what faith is and how to use our faith to change our environment.

The Kingdom of God is not a religious entity but a government that seeks to change the culture of morality, malfunctionction of families, financial and the governing authorities.

Faith is the substance of things that we hope for and the evidence of the things not seen. Hebrews 11:1. The writer is symptomatic of the fact that Faith is an inner confidence and real assurance that something we want is real and will happen as we see it in our hearts (minds).

Faith is substantive, thus it is something that is living and real. Etymologically faith comes from a Greek term (pistis) which primarily means firm persuasion- “A conviction based upon hearing”.

How To Operate By Faith

It is the substance of things hoped for; -substance denotes a real property or being in existence or confidence. Here the word shows us that faith is the real nature of the things that we are hoping to have.

The Amplified bible gives us a better understanding about faith Hebrews 1:1 Now Faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality- faith perceiving as real facts what is not revealed to the senses.

Thus, faith is so real in us and is the ability to see those things that are not as there are. Faith; the conviction of the reality of the unreal reality as the reality.

But How do we put our faith to work:
We have the same spirit of faith; 2Co 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Paul proposes that there are things that we need to do on order to release our faith into work

1. Believe what you have heard from the Lord, the word of God or from the preacher of faith. Believing is to accept something as true. In other words, it is receiving the fact as it is given, this does not mean that individuals defers their mental faculties and just receive the word as given and accepts it. Jesus said if you believe… if you believe. Then you will say to this mountain be removed. God will give you what you believe He can do, Lets just believe the lord because he is good and is able to do beyond what we can think and imagine, so believe, if you can believe you will see the Glory of the Lord.

2. Say the word, speak what you believe, there is power in speaking the word Eccl 8:4 says where the word of the king is there is power. That word assumes that when a king speaks a word that word is power and great thing things including obedience, to simplify it when the king speaks then power is certain. Therefore, speak what you believe. Proverbs 18:20 a man’s belly shall be filled with the fruit of his lips. In other words, what one believes and speaks the same will fill that life.

3. The last thing to do is to do what you believe, the women with the issue of blood did something to add to her faith you too can add some action to your faith. The blind man who meets Jesus was asked what you want me to do for you and he said I want to see. What did Jesus said? See do what you could not do because of your faith. It is time to do some faith action, start buying rings for the wedding oh do something. You can released your faith.
