1 BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.

2 But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.

3 And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].

1. Build your life on Divine Counsel

What is the counsel, advice, plan and strategies that you are following and that you are using to trade? It is imperative to note that what you hear continually determines the person you will become. We are more concerned. Who is speaking in your Life?

The person who is blessed according this text is one who builds and lives his live according to the counsel of the Godly. The same does not take strategies’ from the wicked, the one who is ungodly and the one who is condemned nor live according to the pattern of the world. Again what is the Principles that governs and sustains your existence? Are you following after divine advice, plan and strategy? What is the dominant voice and authority in your life? Then that’s what determines your blessedness and happiness.

2. Do not submit and employ evil habits and imitates a course of life that’s ungodly
To stand in the way of the sinner’s means to abide, appoint, confirm, establish, dwell, and employ a course of life, mode of action and customs of sinners. As a believer, one who is fearing God and who puts the Word of God first in all things one must be diligent to abide, confirm and establish the ways of God and not to emulate the way of sinners. By submitting to a way of Life because one has observed a success, prosperity, will not transfer the previous success of the one you follow to be in your life. However, becoming the original photocopy of someone does limit you and will empower you to be a failure in the things that God has called for Do not settle to be the second best in imitating another person, in all aspect of life and worse still the person one is imitating is ungodly. Confirm, establish and employ systems that empowers you to realize your true potential

3. Use Available Resources
God when He created mankind He placed all that man needs inside of the man. Whatever you need to achieved for Divine purpose is hidden inside you. You are at the right place, in the right season and with the required skill, charisma, talent, grace and anointing. All the resources you ever need are at your disposal. God used Moses education, staff and experience to deliver the Nation of Israel. Daniel become very influential in a foreign land because he was able to use what was inside of him. Stop looking outside for assistance and partnership, the people God has surrounded you with and the experience he has allowed you to accumulate are a resources to bring your life to a better place.

4. Have the ability to see solutions in challenges
This is a rear ability in many, but it is one of the rewarding abilities one can ever possess. The ability to answer the troubles of the dying world is the only rewarding thing anyone can embark on doing. Do you want to make a reasonable impact? Take time to see solutions in our world full of crises. How do you see, what do you see and how do you understand what you see? Helps you develop the ability to generate solutions for your land.


There is always a way to achieve our end, and God has given us all the resources that we need in us.
